Types of Solar Panel Installation

Surface mount system

Surface mount solar array have been and continue to be the most popular solution for many customers. Roof hooks are fitted under existing tiles to sub structure. Aluminium rail is fitted to these roof hooks and the solar panels are mounted onto the rails.

In-Roof Panels

A more aesthetically pleasing solution is to integrate the panels into the roof. This involves removing the tiles (not required on new builds) and fitting weatherproof trays to the roofing sub structure. The solar panels are then fitted into these trays.

Integrated panels - Roofit

The Roofit.Solar system is a 2-in-1 solution, the Nordic design combines premium materials and highly efficient solar technology. This award winning system comes with a 25 year warranty.

Flat roof system

Flat roof installations allow for solar arrays to be mounted using a ballast system. Panels are tilted at an angle to optimise production whilst also reducing shading on the other panels in the array.

Warm and Cold Roof structures

Using a special fixing bracket which maintains a waterproof seal, we can fix to warm and cold roof designed roof structures. This system can be used on flat roofs or pitched roofs.

Ground Mount Solar Array

Ground mounted systems allow for solar arrays to be fitted in gardens or on agricultural land. These systems can be quite large and will require planning permission.
