Open discussion about your ideal solar solution

For many people there are 3 main drivers for installing a solar system:

  • Reduce cost of energy bills

  • Reduce reliance on grid

  • Reduce usage of non renewable fuel sources

We’d love to understand what motivates you.

Understand how you use your energy

To calculate your overall system performance and payback it is important to know your estimated annual electricity usage. It is also useful to know your consumption profile, for example, a family with school age children would generally have different usage to a retired or working from home couple.

Selecting the type and quantity of panels

There are many variables to consider when deciding on the type of system installation and the type of panels to use. It is also important to discuss the quantity of panels which best meets your requirements.

Supporting equipment - Inverter & Battery

Once the quantity, orientation and position of the solar panels has been confirmed we need to look at the supporting hardware, in particular, the inverter and battery.

The correct sizing of the inverter and battery storage is crucial to overall system performance.

Solar irradiance and structural reports

It is important to review the solar irradiance and shading of the system to ensure the design is optimised.

It is also important to check the existing roof structure, or drawings for new builds, to confirm the addition loading of the solar array will be sufficiently and safely supported.
